Living Well Farewell

By | 22nd September 2023

For a little while now I have felt God calling me in a different direction. I have sensed an invitation to focus and concentrate on Ignatian Spirituality. It was through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises that I discerned my calling to the priesthood, some 30 years ago and remains at the core of my spiritual life.

I have decided to follow this call, which means stepping down as an Assistant Chaplain at The Living Well.

As my time in Nonington draws to a close, I am looking back with gratitude to God for allowing me to minister in such a beautiful place and among such wonderful people. It has been a privilege to listen to your stories and to offer prayers to God on your behalf.

The Living Well as a ministry and the house as a place have been special to me for a long time and will remain so.

My prayer will continue to be that God will bless all who come to Nonington to seek His restoration and healing. May His Holy Spirit fill the team who are waiting and watching for them.

Rex

Our gratitude to Rex for his time with us, he has brought energy, compassion and profundity amidst the stories and laughter.

Our sadness is in his going, but our hopes are in the One who leads us on and causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him…..

Our prayers and every blessing Rex as you travel onwards.
